![]() I think this really gives some more credibility to the photos. ![]() There are certain “flaws” in the structure of the console that have me convinced.Īlso SteveStarkiller did a photomatch of the photos from a few months ago of the Falcon’s interior under construction: I think they did a lot of redressing and rebuilding of those original parts, because I agree, I don’t think they would have held up in storage after all this time. They’re trying hard, but like the tantive corridor, there would be more parts that were just not quite right. In this instance, the yokes, seats, and console are way too close to be anything other than the originals. the tantive corridor they rebuilt looks great, but it’s way off in many small details. We think the cockpit itself has been recreated, but he’s convinced the center console is original.Īh, but there’s the rub. Starkiller noticed some key features from the original that appear on the EP VII pics. Starkiller is the authority and he’s convinced! ![]() We’re almost convinced that “if” these images are from EP VII – this is “THE” original center console from the OT. Starkiller and I have been POURING over these newly leaked images and comparing them with original behind the scenes pics and screen shots. Special thanks to the guys at forum for the images and their professional opinion about them. Looking from the cockpit corridor toward the cockpit! ![]() Looking across from where the Nav Computer would sit over to the chess table – no weathering has been added just yet. Now even more photos of the Falcon were leaked this time with some explanation by the guys at The Replica Prop Forum. Of course you've probably worked all that out already and I'm just teaching my Granny to suck eggs! LOL Anyway I always look forward to seeing whats new at Vanishing Point and I hope the interior goes as easily as it can for you.Yesterday we first brought you the story about a newly leaked photos of the Millennium Falcon interior from the Pinewood set. I take it though that it'll be a stand alone set or will you be trying to fit it inside the Falcon model? Either way if I can make a suggestion you may find it easier to make it in a more modular way so that you can, say, just load the cockpit or gun ports as needed rather than the whole thing at once. Wow, that is some undertaking, but I know it'll be really appreciated by lots of us when its done. Any chance of getting that dejarik table as a separate freeiee too? the onlyone I've found so far, is a blender file that, for some reason, comes out as only a wire mesh with no central column, and doesn't want to properly convert into a useable obj file. One of the things I didn't like about the Poser Falcon is that the interior was pretty much filled up with a bunch of useless kibble that had no real purpose. The bad news is that it may take awhile to be finished. The good news is that it's a full interior, including the cockpit, hallways, cargo area (with holographic chess table), and gun ports. I may even include hide/ show poses for the walls and some camera presets. The model needs a lot of clean-up, including triangulating >4 point polys, separating the walls for easier camera placement, rigging any moving parts, adding Poser shaders, and then adding Iray shaders. I'm currently working on converting a massive interior set by Sean Kennedy (with his permission). More accurately, is there space to add your own interiors?
